Fantastic puppy cover!

I just signed up for puppy insurance for my new golden retriever, Charlie, and it was so easy! The website was super clear and I got a great deal with the introductory offer. I added the emergency boarding cover, just in case. Everything was straightforward, and I feel so much better knowing Charlie is covered. I'll definitely be sticking with them!

Good value for money

As a first-time pet owner, I was really looking for the best deal on cat insurance. Spot On offered a good introductory discount for the first year, which made a big difference. I compared it to a few other places, and their lifetime policy for the price seemed to offer solid value. The process was quick online, no hidden fees popped up. It felt like a smart purchase for my budget.

Got cat insurance, pretty easy

So I finally got around to getting insurance for my cat, Whiskers. I went with Spot On and it was actually pretty chill. The website was easy to navigate, didn't feel like a chore. I got the lifetime policy with the illness cover, just in case. Everything went through without a hitch. I was a bit worried it would be complicated, but it wasn't at all. Glad I finally sorted it out, gives me peace of mind, you know?

Good coverage, slow support

I got a lifetime pet insurance policy for my two cats a few months back. The multi-pet discount was a nice touch, and the coverage for vet fees seemed comprehensive, which was important for me. The online process was smooth to get the quote and sign up. However, I had a question about the dental booster add-on after I'd already purchased the policy, and it took a couple of days to get a clear answer from customer service. They were helpful once I connected, but the wait was a bit frustrating. Overall, I'm satisfied with the policy's value, but they could improve response times.

Spot On vs. ManyPets? My doggo is getting a bit older, so I'm worried about vet bills. Any experiences with either for senior pets?

K Katie Mitchell 4 days ago
I moved my 10-year-old lab from ManyPets to Spot On last year. Spot On's lifetime cover seems pretty solid for older dogs, though the premiums definitely go up with age everywhere.

My friend has an older cat with Spot On and she's happy with it. She said they covered a pretty big illness recently without too much fuss.

Are their boosters worth it? Specifically looking at the dental one because my cat's teeth aren't great.

R Robert 1 week ago
The dental booster was a lifesaver for me! My dog needed a pretty expensive procedure and it covered a good chunk of it. Totally worth considering.

I didn't get the dental one, but I heard good things. The travel booster was useful when I took my dog to France though.

What's the deal with pre-existing conditions? My dog had a minor ear infection a year ago, will that exclude everything for ears?

S Sam Hall 1 week ago
They generally don't cover pre-existing conditions, that's pretty standard across pet insurance. But a 'minor' one might be different from a chronic issue. Best to get a quote and see what they say.

Yeah, if it's been a while and it was fully resolved, sometimes they're okay. But they won't cover ongoing stuff that was there before you took out the policy.

Hey, thinking of switching to Spot On for my two cats. Anyone know how the multi-pet discount works? Is it applied automatically?

L Linda Wright 2 weeks ago
Yeah, it's automatic. When I got quotes for both my dog and cat, the discount just showed up at the end. Didn't have to do anything special.

Can confirm, I added my second dog last month and it just adjusted the price. Pretty straightforward.

Does Spot On do direct vet payments? It'd be so much easier than paying upfront and waiting for reimbursement.

S Sofia T. 2 weeks ago
From my experience, they do. My vet dealt directly with them for a claim a few months back. Made things way less stressful.

It depends on the vet, I think. Some vets are set up for it, some aren't. Always best to check with your specific clinic first.
